To assist in the development of a thriving business community PACE BDC established our Asset Building Center.  Our Asset Building Center is open to the community and its mission is to offer quality programs and services that assist individuals and families to manage their finances more effectively in order to create a better financial future.    

Services include:

• Financial education workshops on topics such as budgeting, savings, banking, credit/debt reduction, relating to money, investments and retirement
• Free one-on-one credit counseling available upon completion of the 2 hour “Your Credit Score” workshop 
• Assistance rebuilding or establishing credit through our BUILD Individual Development Account (IDA) program
• Workshops on foreclosure prevention, predatory lending, and a 9 hour first time homebuyer program
• Personal financial planning counseling on topics such as budgeting and cash management
• Free tax preparation under our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
